Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Female | unspayed | 9 months and 16 days old | 23.11 lbs
Hi, my beagle is 10 months old and her coat seems to be changing color. She had sharp patching until two months ago, and now it appears diffused. Is it normal? Please help

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Yes, this is normal. Form your pictures Eva looks to have a very normal coat pattern for a Beagle. Puppies can change coat colors and patterns as they grow up. Have a great day!

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It isn’t uncommon for dogs coat colors to change as they get older. There are also some disease processes that can change coat color. To be sure, I would recommend having a vet take a closer look to make sure there are no microscopic mites or metabolic changes. Good luck and kisses to Dassy!
