I bought omega 3 gel caps 4 my 13lb dog 1000 mg epa 180mg & dha 120mg directions states “For every 50lb of body wt or fraction thereof 1 cap daily ive gotten 2 different answers from 2 different pros Can you tell me if one capsule is too much for a 13 pound dog thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | neutered | 5 years and 4 months old

I would not recommend this strength for a chihuhua and recommend either a smaller strength capsule such as viacutan or a liquid supplement which you can measure more accurately. Excess of any supplementation is undesirable and he would be effectively receiving 3-4 times the recommended amount
