Why is my dog squinting with a blue ring around his eye suddenly?

My dogs eye has been squinting and there is this blue ring around his eye. This just got there today. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 10 lbs

Poor Bubba! From the picture, it looks like the ring may be the edge of his 3rd eyelid. If he is squinting and the third eye lid is further up than normal, he likely either has an infection, foreign object in his eye, or a corneal ulcer. I would have your vet take a look at it so they can determine the cause and get him started on something to help him feel better.
