My puppy bites hard and shakes head. How do I stop this painful behavior?

Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | 1 month and 22 days old | 8 lbs

My little girl roxy is being a monster! She is biting every thing with her sharp teeths,she bites to hard and when she grabs my hand she gives jerks means shakes her head hard it is the main problem, normal biting is okay but when she gives jerks it hurts a lot, i have given her many types of toys though but still... So what should i do

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You are likely describing teething which is basically a normal type of behavior when puppies are growing up and it is secondary to mouth discomfort as teeth are growing. I recommend that you get Roxy teething type toys which you can get at your local pet store or online. Anytime that she tries to nibble at you, you say no and give her the toy. This is likely going to resolve the issue. However, it does take persistence and consistency. Teething is part of the normal growth of a puppy but it does get better. Good luck and have a great day!
