My five year old has been acting strange since we added a 2month old puppy to our family. Trying to run out the front door, running from the puppy, her stools where a little mushy this morning, shaking before my husband leaves the house. Lady is in perfect health. The puppy seems i. Perfect health as well seeind a vet o. Saturday for a check up. Is this normal for a dog that has been the only one I. The home for 5 years? Should I be worried or concerned ? I’m a very over protective fur Momma.

Everyone deals with change differently and it sounds like Lady is a little stressed out. I would recommend a bland diet and some extra love from you and your family. I would spend alone time with her every day. This time should not include the new puppy. It takes time to adjust. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
