My puppy has diarrhea, eye discharge, and cold. Should I see a vet?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Blue Heeler | Female | unspayed | 1 month and 24 days old | 8 lbs

We found a puppy on our front porch about 2 weeks ago and she was eating and drinking well so we guessed her at 8-10 weeks old she is blue healer weighing aprox 8 lbs she is eating and drinking fine but has developed runny diahrea and has discharge from her eyes and her little bark sounds like she has laryngitis I want to do her shots but am afraid that might make things worse and now worry that these cold like symptoms could be something bad she has slowed down but is not lathargic no fever

They will not vaccinate a sick puppy as it will not work and stress their immune system more With those signs I would worry about an infection such as distemper or respiratory virus. She does need to be seen by the vet so she can get treatment for that
