My dog ate onions. He seems fine after 16 hours. Is he okay?

My 4 year old male dog weighing 22kg has managed to jump up and eat 3 small onion bjahi and 3 onion rings. We have watched him carefully for 16 hours and he seems fine so far. He isnt showing any signs of poison. Should he be ok if i monitor him for another few days? Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Male | neutered | 48.5 lbs

Yes, carry on monitoring him for another day or two. If you notice any signs of poisoning, like vomiting, diarrhea, weakness, lack of appetite, take Hugo to your regular vets for a check-up. However, the amount of onion he ate (it was not much for his size) and the fact that 16hrs after ingestion he looks ok means that most likely he is out of the woods.
