Pet's info: Dog | Border Terrier | Female | spayed | 6 years and 4 months old | 35 lbs

A drain was placed in a wound sustained by my dog during a coyote attack. Typically how many days will the drain stay placed before they remove it?

Drain tubes will stay in until the wound actually stops draining. Usually between 3-5 days. If the drain is pulled too soon the holes will close and the wound will fill up with the fluid that now cannot drain.
