Fostering 4 kittens. All about 6-7 weeks old. I switched them from kmr kitten formula to kmr 2nd step weaning food about 4 days ago. They all have diarrhea. I read that that can happen if you change their diet so I gave it a few days and it’s not better. I even changed the consistency of the food to make it thicker and it’s not helping. Also one kitten had a fecal test and was negative for parasites and worms. Vet said if one had it they all have it. Their behavior hasn’t changed, still playful.

At the age of 6-7 weeks, these kittens are completely capable of eating dry kitten food. Perhaps this would help to regulate the stools and firm them up. You can do a combination of soft kitten food and the dry kibble.
