My puppy's Lyme symptoms returned after meds. What should I do?

I have a Puppy that Possibly has lyme Disease she has been running fever and lumps one leg to the next energy is gone. Stays crying like she is in pain. the vet gave her meds and sshe got better and then now she is back and idk if the meds that were given would treat lyme. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed

Poor Ruby! I would make sure the vet knows that she recently has suspected lymes disease to ensure she is on the proper medicine. I would also talk to your vet about running a lyme titer to see if she has an active infection. If not, she may need to be on a different antibiotic to treat other possible diagnoses.
