Poor Dude! I am so sorry you are going through this. It sounds like you are doing just about everything for him. Depending on his kidney values, the vet may be able to adjust the amount of fluids and how often he receives them to help extend his life. I have also read reports about acupuncture helping the kidney disease so you could add that if you have a veterinary acupuncturist available in your area. Unfortunately, it gets to a point where there is nothing left you can do for them except make sure he isn't in any pain. My thoughts are with your during this difficult time.
