My dog won't eat or drink today, but seems normal. What to do?

Pilot hasn’t been eating or drinking today! He isn’t lethargic either so I don’t know what’s going on. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 3 months old | 104 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Pilot! It could be nothing (weather, anxiety, etc) or the start of him getting sick. I would offer ice cubes, the garden hose or a little low sodium chicken broth in his water. If he doesn't eat tonight then start a bland diet of boiled chicken or hamburger with rice. Feed 1 cup per 20 lbs for a few days. You can try adding some water to his dry food to tempt him as well. Then watch for the development of vomit or diarrhea. I wish Pilot the best!
