Back in january my neighbours had builders in for 3 weeks and the noise freaked out my 14 yearold Jack Russell causing her to pant and shake .Since then every time there is a loud hammering or drilling noise she freaks out.I did all I could to drown out the noise but there was still the vibration. If they had only warned me before a friend would have had her.I have bought an Adaptyl deffuser and some Higher Nature Pets CALM both of which calm her down.think prob here to stay. What else can I do

I’m sorry to hear that this is going on with Lady. It is common as a dog ages to develop some anxiety disorders. It sounds as if the construction next-door probably precipitated the anxiety issues with Lady. What you are already doing is great and if you feel like it is helpful then I would continue to use the diffusers and supplements as needed. It may also be beneficial to get Lady a ThunderShirt for days you know there will be a lot noise and commotion around the house. If her anxiety is becoming severe and/or she’s beginning to have separation anxiety or restlessness at night you may want to discuss with your Veterinarian and anti-anxiety medication to help her stay calm. These issues are very common in older, geriatric pets so what you’re going through with Lady is very normal. Thanks for reaching out for help. If there’s anything else we can do to help you please let us know. Best of luck. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/thundershirt-heather-gray-dog-anxiety-solution
