HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! In the US Ascabiol/Lindane is not used. It can cause the symptoms you are describing. I can't find much on if this will be permanent for Zoo or not. All I can find is hours to days. If he is not eating or drinking he needs a feeding tube to give him time. If he doesn't eat that is just as life threatening. I am so sorry that Zoo reacted to this drug in such a horrible way.

I am sorry to hear about your kitty. Unfortunately it appears this product can be toxic in cats. I would wash your kitty with dawn dishsoap if he is alert enough not to inhale any liquid during the bath (don't bathe him if he is seizuring or unconcious) and call your vet right away for further information on treatment that will be needed. You can also consult Pet Poison Control for more information on management of this toxicity http://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/ phone number 855-764-7661
