Why does my rescue cat only like men and not women in the house?

Our rescue house cat seems to only really seek attention and affection from the adult males in our house, why? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 17 lbs

Some kitties are "man"cats and like men better than women. It could be that his original owner was a man. It is normal. I have one like this, too. I got the cat and he decided he liked my husband better and now my husband belongs to him and I do not exist :D .
