Why does my dog have light blue spots on the outer part of his ears?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! From what I can tell from the pictures the blue spots look like growths, especially in the first picture. In the second it could be just skin color. It is likely they are ceruminous adenomas but in order to know if they are benign the growth should be biopsied. If she develops many growths it can occlude the ear canal and cause persistent ear infections. I would have your Vet look at the blue discolored areas to confirm if they are growths and discuss biopsy. They can also check for others in the canal. I wish you and Jessica the best!
