Why is my 8-week-old kitten sleeping and not using the litter box?

Hallo. I have a kitten who is roughly 8 weeks old. I got her about 3 weeks ago. She doesn't let us pet her, she doesn't use her litter box and she isn't as playful as she was before. She basically sleeps all day and when she isn't sleeping she sits at the door and just stares. We have tried everything to get her attention but it doesn't seem to last more than a minute. Please give me some advice, I don't like seeing her like this. Thank you. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 1 month and 15 days old | 1.8 lbs

Hello, Chloe is not acting like a normal kitten and that may be due to an underlying virus, parasites or even a congenital birth defect. I would advise you to have Chloe examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible. You should have her tested for feline leukemia, feline immunodeficiency virus, and parasites.
