My dog still has ticks after natural remedy. Can I use Frontline now?

Hello! We used a natural tick remedy (the one sold at petco) and she keeps getting ticks! Can I give her Frontline or do I have to wait a month? We put the stuff on her on Sunday and she has gotten about 10 ticks over the past few days.

You don't have to wait a month, natural tick remedies do not work in my experience but there is no toxicity effect related to those products either. you can use Frontline today if you want, although i would recommend other products for ticks such as Nexguard, Bravecto or Advantix which are in my opinion much more effective than frontline.

Frontline is a good product and should do the trick. If the ticks do not come off or die with the frontline or you are finding new ones after treatment, I would consult with your vet about getting a different product such as nexgard or bravecto.

My dog has a flea infestation. I used Frontline Gold on him on July 11th; however, I'm still finding fleas and flea dust on him. Is there anything I can use in conjunction with the Frontline. Maybe something natural until I can use more Frontline
