My dog has dry, dark skin with thin fur. Is it Von Willebrand's?

I have noticed a patch on my dogs side where the fur is thin and tge skin is drier and darker than other places on her body,its not itchy.She has von willebrands disease also,im wondering if this is related to it and also if there is anything i can do to help her skin. Pet's info: Dog | Doberman Pinscher | Female | spayed | 6 years and 7 months old | 62 lbs

I would try adding in an omega 3 fatty acid to see if this helps. If it isn't improving or if the hair loss is getting worse, I would have your vet take a look. Your vet may decide to check her thyroid to ensure it isn't low. I hope this helps!
