It sounds as Bany is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

Doodle's diarrhea could be caused by intestinal worms, GI illness, eating something rotten, or a foreign body to name a few. Make sure he is up to date on his deworming treatments, giving him one if he is not. I can also give you a home remedy to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, he starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away. Best of luck.

Withholding her food and water will help her stomach rest. She might have an infection, parasites or even a stressed induced gastritis. With her being so little, if there is bloody diarrhea or she continues to vomit it is best to have your vet do blood work to check for a cause to get her feeling better.

Hello and thank you for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I'm sorry to hear that Stormi vomited today. If this was the first time that she had dry food, she may have vomited because it caused her some mild gastric upset, or a belly ache. Dogs' gastrointestinal tracts are very sensitive to changes in diet, so if she was eating a different food previously, and was abruptly switched to this food, that can cause vomiting and/or diarrhea. If she just vomited once and is otherwise acting healthy, I would continue to monitor her at home. If she vomits multiple times, or is unable to keep any food dog at all, she should be evaluated by a veterinarian. Otherwise, I would withhold feeding her for a few hours, but allow her access to water. You may try offering her a small amount of bland food such as boiled chicken and rice in a few hours, and see how she tolerates that. If she can keep it down, you can try mixing in some of this new dry food with some rice. I hope this is helpful!
