This amount of hemorrhage is not normal for a pregnant cat. I would recommend taking her to the vet to be evaluated as soon as possible. With this much bleeding she is at risk of blood loss and the lives of the unborn kittens are at risk as well. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.

Without seeing your kitty in person or having a lot more information about her cat health condition, I cannot diagnose what is causing the bleeding you are seeing. If your cat has been pregnant for approximately 49 days bleeding would be abnormal and can be indicative of any number of health problems. My best recommendation would be to take Blazer to your vet for an exam just to be safe.

If it is just a small amount of blood than it is probably not a miscarriage. She could have a urinary tract infection. The best thing would be to have your vet take a look at her to diagnose and determine if treatment is needed. If she has an infection than your vet can prescribe an antibiotic to treat.

It's not normal to have any bleeding during a cat's pregnancy, so I would have her seen by a vet now to make sure everything is ok with her pregnancy. It could be a sign of a miscarriage, and it's best to have the vet examine her.
