My dog's skin came off, no blood, and hardened. Is it serious?

My dog he has a some skin that came off but there was no blood the skin has hardened around it also. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 10 lbs

I would just make sure to keep the area clean while it heals. It should not require any antibiotics or topical creams. If the paw pad begins to swell or there is drainage at the area of the injury, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Royce so that the most appropriate treatment can be administered.
