My puppy threw up after Trifexis. Is this a common side effect?

I gave my 8 month old puppy trifexis for 1st Time this morning with a couple pieces of hot dog. came home this evening he threw up about 5 times. Not lethargic but very tired. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 7 months and 3 days old | 10 lbs

This is a very common side effect of Trifexis, if you know for sure that he didn't throw up for the first 2 hours after you gave it to him, then you do not have to treat again. the side effect will last up to 24 hours. next time try to give it a quarter tablet at a time every 15 minutes with food, this can prevent this side effect. alternatively you can switch to a different product.
