Any oil isn't safe because it's a fat, plus avocado shouldn't be fed to dogs anyway as it causes GI upset. You can give Ricky boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and boiled beef, do not give him anything cooked in any type of oil or seasoned. Best of luck.

I accidentally bought CBD oil for humans instead of dogs off a CBD website. The CBD oil bought contains Avocado Oil. I have already given my dogs several doses since I have been reading that oil should be fine. I just want to double check with a vet
I would not have any concerns about avocado oil in an otherwise healthy dog. You should make sure you’re giving an appropriate dose since the human version might be more concentrated - you should be able to compare the concentration to the veterinary product you intended to purchase.

Is it safe to give my dogs cooked chicken?
Yes, cooked chicken meat is fine. Do not give cooked chicken bones as they will splinter when chewed and can cause damage in the stomach and intestines. I prefer to give a good quality dog food, and use a small amount of chicken for treats when training or to encourage dogs to eat. My young yorkie got a hold of my avocado toast and managed to eat about three inches of it. What should I do?
Avocado itself isn't toxic, but does have a high fat content that may cause GI upset. It may be a good idea to replace Kylie's regular diet for a few meals with some boiled rice and chicken to help settle her stomach, especially if she has any minor vomiting or diarrhea after eating the "snack". Some dogs can have severe reactions from eating too much fat, such as pancreatitis. Signs of something more severe that warrant a trip to the vet ASAP include blood in the vomit or diarrhea, painful abdomen, bloated abdomen, attempting to vomit or defecate without results, or general distress/lethargy/loss of appetite. If you do see these signs, scheduling a vet visit ASAP is best.

Hello , How good is raw chicken compared to cooked ones in feed dogs? And Any advantages and disadvantages that can guide me?? Thanks
I strongly recommend against feeding raw chicken as I have seen many dogs get really sick with salmonella and other illnesses like parasites. I would recommend to cook the Chicken bit do not feed them any bones. Also if you are not feeding a commercial dog food, I would recommend to add in a dog multivitamin to ensure she is getting all of her nutrients. I hope this helps. I hope this helps!

Will i give oil and ghee to puppy
No, I do not recommend giving oil and ghee to Daisy. The oil could go into her trachea leading to aspiration, and too much oil can cause pancreatitis. As for the ghee, it's not healthy for her either. It could cause her to gain excess weight. I would only feed her a commercial dog food diet, and give her puppy specific treats.

Is it true when you cook chicken and the left over water is good for dogs ? My mom wants me to give it to the dogs so they can drink it. Also Is it fine to give them cook chicken ?
It is fine to use some of the chicken broth for flavoring on dog food. Just make sure there was no aggressive seasoning or excessive salt used. The best broth for dogs would be non seasoned or low salt broth. Also you would want to skim out the fat if there is a lot of it or let it set up in the fridge first so you can remove the larger fat layer. Giving cooked chicken is also no problem as a treat. Just make sure the majority of the diet is dog food as that is made balanced for dogs. I hope this helps and thank you for using Boop by Petco!

My 108 lb lab ate vegtable cooking oil that I had made chicken in. He has vomited and has diarrhea. He vomited after drinking water last night. He ate a little bit of his food this morning but not very peppy. Should I try a bland diet or just.his
I would give him a bland diet like plain boiled boneless, skinless chicken and white rice to see if this helps. If he continues to vomiting, be lethargic, or have diarrhea, I would strongly recommend to have your vet take a look at him. Eating vegetable cooking oil is high in fat and he could have developed pancreatitis which will need some medical therapy to help him improve. Pancreatitis is when the pancreas becomes very inflamed and irritated and is usually caused by eating trash or something high in fat. I hope this helps and Nixon starts to feel better soon!

Hi, i know dogs aren’t supposed to eat garlic. But i have some beef sautéed with garlic and ginger. Is it safe for my pup to eat it if i rinsed or boiled it with water?
Even though the possibility of toxicity is minimal if you rinse/or bolied it, I would avoid to give it to your puppy. This would be quite hard to digest as well and could potentially cause gastrointestinal upset as well.
