My dog has a growing bump after her lepto vaccine. Is this normal?

My dog got a lepto shot on Friday and yesterday I noticed a bump which is normal but today its bigger. It doesn't bother her when I touch it

Some vaccines, respectively the adjuvants contained in the vaccines, can cause a local tissue reaction such as swelling and pain. lepto is one of those vaccines where this is happening more often. Keep checking the bump for heat and pain and fluctuation and if you think it is getting inflamed or painful you should take Rosie back to the vet for a recheck as she may have an injection abscess which should be lanced and flushed. Usually "normal" vaccine tissue reactions disappear within a week.
