Is onion extract in dog broth safe for my puppy to eat daily?

A friend told me its safe to give this to my puppy, since she been it for years But I know this has onion extract in it Is this safe for any dogs? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 months and 12 days old | 23 lbs

Hello. It would be almost impossible to say how much onion extract is actually present in the broth. That being said, since it is the last ingredient & the broth ( which I use ) does not have a strong onion smell or taste, it is probably a very small amount. I would, however, not recommend giving this to your pet on a daily basis. Once in a while is fine, but a little onion extract daily MIGHT cause a problem. If you want to supplement Shawn's diet with broth every day, then go the homemade route & leave out any onions. Then you will also have some delicious chicken for treats or salad left over for you.
