My dog had one puppy, got shot, still no labor. What's next?

Hello my dog has given birth to a pup at 4.30-5 ish this morning. She has been to the vet at 9 and given an injection. But there is no sign of labour yet she is still panting and nesting.

Hello. I am sorry for your concerns about Willow. I assume your veterinarian gave her a shot of Oxytocin at 9 am. Usually, this will initiate contractions within 30 minutes, if not, we may repeat the injection one more time ( assuming no puppies can be felt in the external birth canal). If it has been several hours & no puppies have been born then it is probably time to consider that Willow needs a C-section. I hope all is well soon.
