Why does my puppy sneeze and reverse sneeze when we go outside?

Question

What should I do with respect to my 8mo old mixed breed Maltese male puppy sneezing and/or reverse sneezing ONLY when he leaves our apartment and oftentimes out on our walks? This happens every time we leave the premise! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 8 months and 6 days old | 12 lbs

Hi and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Some dogs will sneeze (and reverse sneeze) whenever they get excited. If there is no nasal discharge or other signs of illness associated with the sneezing I wouldn't be concerned.
