My puppy ate a cigarette. Why is she throwing up yellow foam?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed

12 week old puppy partially consumed a unsmoaked cigarette sometime last week. She threw up for the first time ever with me of yellow and a little foam. She's been a lot cuddlier to me than normal as well but that's been going on way before the cigarette.

If the vomit episode happened few days after the cigarette ingestion is unlikely that the two episode are linked. Just monitor Tater and if she vomits again I would heve her checked by your local veterinarian. You could give her some bland food for today (boiled breast chicken and rice) divided in 4-5 tiny portion to administer throughout the day. Good luck. Please post again if you would like to discuss it further. I hope my answer was helpful.
