Pet's info: Small Animal | Unknown - Small Animal | Female | unspayed
My rat is making an odd noise as she sleeps and when she first wakes up. Once she's awake she's breathing normally and she is acting normally as well, she is eating and taking treats although she does seem to sleep more than my other two rats. Does she have a respiratory infection? How can I treat it if she does?

It does sound as if you ratbhas a respiratory tract infection. The best course of treatment is to have Blizzard examined by your veterinarian so an appropriate antibiotic can be started if needed. I would also recommend separating Blizzard from the other rats as well in case the infection is contagious. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
