My dog collapsed, blue tongue, died. What caused his sudden death?

Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | unneutered | 7 years and 7 months old | 17 lbs

Ok my dog just had I think a seizure all that happened was he went and laid in bed turned to clean himself and flopped over and his jaw was very stiff his tongue turned blue his eyes were fixed no movement or anything, light didn't make eyes do anything he had a heartbeat but couldn't breathe on his own so I immediately breathed for him /CPR.He was been treated for inflammation and infection as the vet found a lump near his prostate and in urine blood cells high count I.t infectionhepassedwhy

I am so very sorry that you lost your dog. The only way to find out why your dog died would be to send him in for a post mortem. If you would like to do this you have to put him in a cold place, preferably either under ice, or in a fridge (not freezer) and then take him to your vet to be sent to a pathology laboratory or you can take him to a pathology lab yourself tomorrow. I am so sorry you had to go through this trauma. Your dog likely did not suffer as he was unconscious.
