My puppy has grey, round, blood-filled skin growths. Are they ticks?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 17 days old | 4 lbs

Hi my 16 week Ponapoo has a few little external warty growths same colour as his skin gray was like a flap at first but have filled up round shape within the the last ten days

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! These are not growths, these are actually ticks. The reason they are growing is because they are filling up with blood. These should be removed. This is something your veterinarian should be able to do for you very easily. A good flea and tick preventative to consider to try to prevent this is Frontline plus.
