My young kitten is vomiting, not eating, and cold. Is it an emergency?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 17 days old

My 13 week old kitten has vomited 12 times since yesterday and is barely eating or drinking. We keep trying to get him to eat and drink, even with a syringe to stop him from getting dehydrated. He is less active than usual but is not completely lethargic. He seemed to have a temperature last night but today feels quite cold to touch, especially on his ears which are usually warm and pink and are now white and cold. What could be wrong? He's also been crying out when defecating for the 3 weeks.

I am afraid this is an emergency. You will need to take your kitten to a veterinarian out of hours clinic now. Ivory could have an intestinal obstruction having ingested a toy or other foreign body. The fact that he feels cold to touch is also a serious concern. Please take Ivory to a vet now.
