Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered | 13 lbs
I have two cats who have lived with me for the past four years but recently lived with another family for two months. The cats are skittish but have always been quite comfortable around me. I went to visit them and they were afraid of me. I have two options. I can bring them home with me but when I move they may have to go to the shelter or they can be adopted by the lady they’re with but her house it quite dirty, has many cats, and they are overfed. Which would be better for my cats?

I know this is a difficult situation and hard decision. Unfortunately, without seeing the conditions of the house and the health of all the cats, it is hard for me to make this decision for you. If you do not think their current situation is a good fit for a forever home, I would bring them home with you. If you think you will have to take them to a shelter, you can either try to find them a different home yourself or let the shelter do that. I hope this helps.
