Hi do I need to keep away from my dogs after radio iodine treatment and if so how long for. Pet's info: Dog | Tibetan Mastiff | Female | unspayed | 4 years and 3 months old | 56 lbs

If you have had radioiodine treatment then you should take the same precautions with them as with other people - avoid prolonged close contact, do not allow them to sleep in your bed and flush toilets and sinks 2-3 times after using them. Generally 3-5days is deemed enough to allow radiation levels to decrease
