My dog has an ear growth. What can I do at home without surgery?

Pet's info: Dog | English Cocker Spaniel | Male | 9 years and 11 months old | 33 lbs

My cocker spaniel has a small cyst the size of q tip like growth right in front of his ear he rubs all time I can't afford surgery what can I do at home to help it took him to vet said it would get bigger an bigger help please can't get photo at this minute will if needed asap

Poor Hershey. Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done or given to prevent the growth of any mass. You can try giving Benadryl twice a day (see link below) and applying Neosporin ointment mixed with cortisone ointment to help try and soothe him and prevent him from rubbing it all the time. Unfortunately it may not help. You can also put a cone on him if he is still rubbing it and making himself bleed. I hope this helps! https://www.petcoach.co/canigive/dog/benadryl/#!
