Why is my puppy breathing fast? Could roundworms be the reason?

Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 20 days old | 10 lbs

My 11 week old pit bull puppy. Is breathing very fast..I just found out yesterday he has a very early case of round worms other than that he's completely heath eats great drinks great lots of energy. Could the worms be why he's breathing so fast

Puppies breathe faster than adult dogs, up to 38 breaths /minute. You should get some wormer and worm your puppy. Round worms and other worms can cause puppies to get somewhat anemic, so their breathing rate can go up. Also pain (tummy ache from the worms) can cause an increased rate.
