Hi I have a liter of 6 French bull dog puppies. They are about 6 weeks old. They are indoor, the mom is also indoor but I let her outside to potty. Today I found a tick on one of the pups, so I’m sure they all have them and the mom is the one who brought them. I know they are too young for flea treatment so what can I do to get rid of them? The mom sleeps with them so is it safe to do flea treatment on the mother? Should I isolate them from the mom? Please give me advice thanks!

You can treat the mom now and there are some products you can use on the puppies now as well (like Revolution). Here is a chart of what products you can use. I suggest you consult with your vet about what products they have available. I would suggest treating everyone with Revolution. You do not need to isolate the mom. ( https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/health/puppy-health/flea-and-tick-medicine-for-puppies/ ) Don't forget to treat the environment - both the house and the yard. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
