Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 9 days old | 60 lbs
I would like to mix dry food with wet (canned) food but I don't know much of each I should give him. The dry food brand says 3 1/2 to 6 cups a day. The wet food brand says 1 can (13oz) for every 22 lbs a day. Currently my dog is 41 lbs and walks/runs 3-5 miles daily & I fed him twice. Maybe is to much to ask but I think that what I want is an equivalent table between the dry and canned food so he can eat he necessarily according to his age, weight and activity. Thanks and regards.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Lucifer. One can of food is roughly equivalent to one cup dry. This can vary a bit depending on the brand, but that is a good estimate. You should be able to find calories per cup or per can on the website from the pet food manufacturer. You are correct to increase the calories on days he runs. Overall, I base how much to feed on how the dog looks. You want to easily feel the ribs, if not see the last one or two. He also needs a defined waste from both the top and side views. I hope this information helps!
