My puppy ate a glue trap. Should I be concerned and what to do?

My 8 month old puppy chewed up and may have ingested part of a glue trap, should I be concerned? He has eaten and drank.

Hello, sorry to hear about Charlie. He may need to have that removed or at least monitored with x-ray to make sure that it does not cause an obstruction. Please have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon. If it is not a large glue trap, they may be able to induce vomiting so that he can expel it and avoid further complications. In the interim, monitor for any signs of vomiting, decreased appetite, lethargy, or diarrhea and contact your veterinarian if you note any. Hope this helps and best of luck.
