My rabbits' deworming was interrupted. Can I restart it later?

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 1.5 lbs

Hi there, my rabbits have just started their deworming treatment today (took first dose), however they are staying at a boarding house for a week starting tomorrow so I will not be able to continue the deworming treatment for the nine consecutive days I am supposed to administer it. Can I start the treatment again once i have picked them up from the boarding house? Thank you!

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Great question! Yes you can. Just don't give any more doses until you return. It is prescribed to be given once daily for that time frame (9 consecutive days) as to ensure the medication works appropriately. Just start again when you return and do 8 consecutive days. That should be fine. Best wishes!
