What's this white mark on my 6-month-old kitten's gum? Is it serious?

Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 21 days old | 5 lbs

My 6 month old kitten has a white mark on her lower gum it looks like she has bitten it is it something to worry about or will she be fine?

The picture is a little blurry but if you are referring to the little bump on the lower lip, that is normal anatomy of a cat. You’ll see one on the other side as well. If you are referring to something else, my general rule is, if you are worried about it, schedule a vet appointment. This is double true if Xena seems to have trouble eating, is drooling, or is bleeding from the area. If xena is acting totally normally, you can always keep an eye on if for a few days and then decide. Best of luck to you and Xena!
