My dog won't eat unless handfed. Can I add raw egg to his food?

Question

Simba is not at all eating unless handfed. If handfed also he eats his food with a great difficulty. I took him to vet,they said its normal he would eat it later. For flavour can i add a raw egg in his food , please advise me to make him eat his food of his own. Thank-you. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | 9.503 lbs

Your vet excluded inappetence secondary to systemic disease therefore, I would suggest to leave his food in the bowl and have a bit of patience. If Simba is hungry he will eat the food you provide without hand feed him. I wouldn't mix anything can get easily rotten (as raw egg) as at the beginning of the process it might take 12 + hours before Simba goes to his bowl! Try with different dry food flavors and just let Simba know the food is there available for him! Please post again on the forum if you would like to discuss it further. I hope my answer was helpful.
