Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! He is so handsome! Vomiting and diarrhea can occur secondary to conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, dietary indiscretion, parasites, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have Kalvin evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At the very least they can start him on medications to make him feel better and check his hydration status. In the meantime, keep water available at all times to try to prevent dehydration. Good luck and have a good day!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Crystal! It looks like the skin under her tail is raw, likely from the diarrhea. I would have her seen by the Vet. Cats can't be treated at home well with at home remedies. Causes of vomiting and diarrhea are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, kidney or liver issues, over active thyroid, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, toxin ingestion, reaction to a new treat/food/human food. If she is young they will likely treat her symptomatically (fluids, ant-nausea medications, probiotic, special food and medication for the diarrhea). If she is older then may want to do blood work. I wish Crystal a speedy recovery!

Poor Mikis! That sounds miserable. I would recommend taking him in for an exam. Sometimes medication is needed to stop the nausea. Also- it is possible that there is another reason for him to be sick such as a foreign object. It is best to get a good exam. They make also prescribe some bland easy to digest food. Sometimes fluids are needed because they are dehydrated. If he gets painful or lethargic, please take him as soon as possible. Thanks for reaching out to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
