Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 22 days old | 6 lbs
My puppy hasn’t been eating since yesterday. He eats if he’s given bread but nothing else Neither wet food, nor dry. I tried heating up the food, Mixing it, Adding warm water in dog food, but nothing seems to work. He ate half spoon of peanut butter yesterday withouy hesitating, and a slice of bread today morning. His activity level is normal.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Austin. I suspect that he is not feeling well as evidenced by his decreased appetite. Has he developed any other signs such as vomiting or diarrhea? If so, he should see his veterinarian. He may require deworming medication or other treatment. In the meantime, keep trying to get him to eat and offer plenty of water. I do not want him to become dehydrated as he is so young. I hope this information helps.

There could be a number of reasons for Jasper's decline in appetite, as it is a non-specific sign of many illnesses such as dental problems, systemic illness, infection, or injury to name a few. It is concerning that a puppy, especially a Golden Retriever, isn't eating all of his food. Given that this has been going on for a couple of days, I'd take him into the vet first thing Monday for a check up. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
