My dog had diarrhea, now not pooping. Is it blocked or just empty?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old

Both trick and panda had a bout of diahorrea it was watery been on plain white rice and scourban panda was pooping 2hourly but hasn't been for 19 hrs trick hasn't been for 12hrs has the rice and scourban caused them to block or have they just run out of poop since they went so much still drinking and eating

It's normal to see a period where a dog doesn't poop after having diarrhea for a bit, and both Trick and Panda should return to passing feces soon. It's good that they are both drinking and eating, so continue to keep an eye on them. If the diarrhea returns, bring them back into the vet. Best of luck!

    Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It is unlikely a blockage since the vomiting has stopped. I suspect she hasn’t had a bowel movement because she was having diarrhea and not keeping any food down. It takes time for the body to make stool and if there wasn’t food in the body, then it won’t make stool. If she is eating and drinking and not vomiting anymore the poop will come. Kisses to Luna!
