My cat wakes me up at 3 AM every day and bites. How do I stop this?

Hello. I’m having trouble with my cat waking me up at 3am every morning and won’t leave me alone until I wake up. Then he is perfect. I have tried ignoring him. Also he gets bitty. There is no indication as he will be purring as he is biting. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 3 years and 3 months old | 14 lbs

You may want to try an automatic feeder. You can set the timer to feed in the night. He may be hungry and wakes you up to feed him. It will also distract him and give him something to do instead of waking you up. You can also play with him before bed and don’t let him sleep in the evening so he will sleep longer.
