Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 11 months and 7 days old | 76 lbs
My black lab has been swimming a lot recently (we do competitive dock diving) and I’m noticing that her fur seems to be fading in color a bit and looking more brown on her body other than her dorsal line. Do you think it’s due to the chlorine in the pools? I’ve never heard of that in dogs.

It is certainly possible. However thyroid disorder can also cause hair coat changes , although that would be unusual at her age. You may want to also evaluate her diet and make sure she is on a performance diet that had had feed trials. Some dog food companies do not do feeding trials to make sure their ingredients are bioavailabile. Best of luck and I hope she does well. Thank you for using Pet Coach
