My 1yr staffador has red eyes on the white at the bottom what can it be and what should I do

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be due to conjunctivitis. It would be best to have Bailey evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. If they agree that this is due to something like conjunctivitis, they would likely prescribe antibiotic eye drops to hopefully make her feel better. Good luck and have a great day!

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I can definitely see that Bailey's eye has lost hair around it has a considerable amount of redness. This can be caused by chronic scratching and discharge, which are both indications of discomfort. This can be caused by infections, foreign material in the eye, conjunctivitis, and even corneal ulcers. I recommend having Bailey seen by her vet as soon as possible. You can get her an E-collar or cone to keep her from scratching the eye and causing more trauma in the meantime.
