My Dog just got neutered today and i wanted to ask in how many days will he have no more inflamation? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 2 years old | 21.6 lbs

Any post operative swelling typically resolves within 2-3 days of surgery. If the dog is able to lick or get at the area, this may prolong recovery time and cause more swelling. An Elizabethan collar (cone) will help prevent licking and aid in recovery.
